From the waterways of the Canal du Rhone a Sete you get a unique and magical insight to the desolate yet beautiful wetlands of the Camargue, home to and famous for its wild white horses, flocks of pink flamingos and bull-fighting bulls – as well as thousands of other species of bird and wildlife. While here, take a day out to dip your toes in the sea at the fashionable resort of Saintes Maries de la Mer or walk the walls of the ancient crusader city of Aigues Mortes, one of the Camargue’s principal towns.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE

Le Boat will be happy to arrange transfers from your arrival point to the base and can also do your food and drink shopping to stock up your boat before you arrive. Please complete our Taxi Transfer form and grocery order form, then email, fax or post it back to the base at least 14 days prior to departure. The base receptionist will contact you directly to confirm details of your transfer.

BASE OPENING HOURS

Monday - Sunday: 09:00 - 12:30  14:00 - 17:45

LATE ARRIVALS

If you are going to be arriving at the base late, you will need to inform the base directly or the general sales office where you booked. When you arrive at the base there will be a note on the reception door informing you where your boat is. The boat will be left open with the lights on for you to stay on board that night. The base staff will do the full briefing the following morning.

FISHING

Fishing is allowed on the canal. A fishing permit is not required after Franquevaux which is just 4 hours cruising from the base.
