Majestic, sublime and surreal. Pinching oneself to validate your experience is real all day long. Quite simply the best vacation I have ever had. Every activity from dawn till dusk and beyond brings excitement, adventure and awe.
A great boat for two. Perhaps two adults and two kids would still be wonderful. Well equipped, spacious and easy to cruise in.

The boat supplied had many features which were unsatisfactory! Fuel gauge didn't work, door lock didn't work and switch to change control between outside & inside was very difficult to operate.Time spent explaining things at the start was insufficient. Don't think also this location should be advertised for complete beginners, luckily my son wasn't but at 13 it's a very large burden to put on young shoulders.Middle of the week had half day wasted due to lock-keepers not being about in Fort Augustus and last day non- working swing bridge delayed a further 2-3 hrs.Was a fun holiday on the whole but spoilt and made very stressful at times by lack of advice, problems with the boat supplied and attitudes of a small number of lock-keepers.
Important features of boat not working, fuel gauge, door lock and inside to outside controls very difficult to operate.

I have used le Boat before and was again fully satisfied until this the last Day of our hire in May. On the first day one of our party Dr. Richard Stephens had ordered a WIFI but was not given a receipt. On the last morning at check out in Jarnac we asked for a refund (Previously agreed in a telephone call from the boat as the WIFi wasn't operating). Again we pointed out that there had been no receipt and they refunded him 20Euro less than the rental charge (frankly I cant remember the precise detail- either he had paid 70 Euro but was only given 50 back or else the relevant figures were 90 in which case only 70 was refunded). It took quite a while to try and sort out and we were promised am email follow up but have heard nothing. The amount involved is small but has left a bad taste.! Surely no cash should be taken without a recept

Great boat, with lots of room.
