The Three Rivers Cruise

Norfolk Broads, England

Reviews for the The Three Rivers Cruise

After a brief demo, being let loose on the river with a 40' boat was somewhat daunting. That said within ten minutes it seemed normal and by the time it came to mooring the boat for the first evening it had all come together. The family took to it like naturals and we were pleasantly surprised that no one took the opportunity to fall in.
We went up the river Ant first and relaxed to the pace of life, taking in the gorgeous scenery and enjoying the open roof, fresh air and the natural quiet.
The boat was excellent. Norwich and Wroxham are worth a visit
Norwich, mooring in the centre was an excellent location
The views were tremendous and the relaxing pace of the holiday together with doing just what we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it.
we did most of the broads, especially to the south. However the tides down past Gt Yarmouth have to be treated with care. Planning of the route is essential and always take into account the tide table. We did find a lack of good up to date literature with relation to cruising hard to find. We found it beneficial to look for evening moorings early in the afternoon; that way we were able to moor where we wanted to and not where we had to.
