Reviews for Elsass-Lothringen cruises

A couple travelling with one teenager.
The Sarre canal from Hesse to Sarralbe was the most scenic and interesting and we wish we had spend an extra night in that part of the canal. The canal and river from that point on was not very interesting, and Sarraguemines is really only worth spending half a day in. There is nowhere good to moor between Sarraguemines and Saarbrucken, so we spent the last night at the Saarbrucken marina, which was not very nice.

Unfortunately the arzviller was out of commission and we should have changed to another cruise.
We couldn't go from Hesse so pick another cruise.
2 couples. Enjoyed our boating holiday. Loved all the sights, restaurants, shopping and people
Metz was a favourite. The round trip, although we couldn't do it due to a lock strike is very rushed to do in 2 weeks. We would recommend doing it in 3 weeks so there is much more time to enjoy the towns along the way.
Cruising in Alsace Lorraine-visit to Strasbourg, the arzvillier lift and the deep lock.
As above. Enjoyed walking up the old locks which have now been replaced by the arzvillier lift.
