Revel in balmy Brittany

A Celtic land laced in canalized rivers studded with towering castles seemingly at every turn, a Brittany boat rent in France ushers you into an especially unique French locale. You’re not far from the North Atlantic coast, so seafood at cafés is in order! You can also venture to Nantes and Rennes for the museums, historic sites, fine restaurants and lively nightclubs.

Reviews for Bretagne cruises

This was our 5th Le Boat cruise. There were 4 of us aboard. We wanted to add to our experience in Brittany last year.
This route takes you along a very picturesque river until Redon and then along an attractive canal / river to Josselin. There are very few locks on the first river to delay travel and those on the following part of the route are beautifully decorated with pot plants. Interestingly, many of the locks on this second part have their own ropes that can be used to control the boat which we found to be most helpful. The view of the chateau right on the river at Josselin is magnificent. The short trip up to Gacilly was both beautiful and exciting (in case we met another cruiser coming the other way!) and we saw several kingfishers along this stretch. Most of the towns and villages that we moored at along this route had very good restaurants. One that we would highlight - because it is a little remote and not mentioned much - is La Ciboulette at Le Pont d'Oust, Nr Peillac. Excellent food and remarkable good prices. Great trip and looking forward to the next one.
Calm and quiet region with lovely scenery.
I would recommend to visit La Gacilly and Josselin
Relaxing, quit and very nice landscapes.
Changing landscapes, much green, nice villages.
The whole holiday was memorable, especially cruising down the canals
We seen lots off quaint little towns and villages along on the way. we would recommend a over night stay in Guipry where there is a Supermarket go stock up your boat
