Reviews for the The Arzviller Experience Cruise
Clean and attractive facility, lovely and helpful people. The service and assistance were of the highest caliber, the boats were spotlessly clean. This was our 18th year of boating with LeBoat (and it's former name - Connoisseur) and have had no better experience at any base.
Comment fromThe Le Boat Team
Hi Alan, we appreciate your comments and continued loyalty to Le Boat! We look forward to seeing you onboard again soon.
Bra båtar och bra service, samt mycket trevliga områden för kanalfart
Omväxlande natur samt många bra övernattnings ställen
The Magnifique was a wonderful Boat, the Alsace Lorraine area is the best. Not too much traffic and no wasted time going thru the locks. Weather was not so nice, having a great crew onboard over took the lousy weather. Was impressed with the new marina in Niderviller. You should include the Altenburger Rest. in Niderviller as a recommended Resturant. They even sent vans to take us to and from.
We had dinner in Boofzheim on Sat. night and went from Boofzheim to Strausbourg on Sunday. An easy one day trip and ordinary scenery. Need a day to tour Strasbourg. A day in Saverne was good. Laundry mat and easy shopping plus some sightseeing.
Cocktail hour on board viewing great scenery in a peaceful location.
Enjoyed the cruising scenery with extended walks around beautiful french towns particularly Strasbourgh and Saverne.
We cruised from Boofzheim to Saarbrukken and back to Hesse. The most memorable experiences were the peacefulness of the area, French wine and German beer; local cuisine, cycling along the canal paths and into remote villages for supplies. Overnighting in tranquil forests with morning mist rising from the canals and lakes.
We experienced rural France, at our own pace and with time to appreciate the local food and wines. Arzviller was an experience not to be missed, as was the enormous lock - Grande ecluse - at Rechicourt.
