Pick the cabin group that suits your crew, then select one of the available destinations. Your holiday will take place on one of the boats listed within that group or you may even be eligible for a complimentary upgrade, navigating a round-trip route from the same base.

- Boat changes on request are not allowed – a different boat is only offered if there is a technical or safety issue.
- Fuel is charged based on the actual boat you cruise on, in line with our regular fuel policy.

No, the exact boat is only confirmed at check-in. Le Boat ensures every Mystery Boat is fully prepared, clean, and ready for your canal boating holiday.

No. Le Boat only offers a different boat if there’s a technical or safety issue. Your Mystery Boat will always meet our minimum standards for comfort and facilities.
Sometimes. Le Boat may provide a complimentary upgrade if a higher-category boat is available. Upgrades are not guaranteed and depend entirely on fleet availability.
Mystery Boats are offered in selected Le Boat boating destinations and only for round-trip bookings returning to the departure base. Availability is shown during booking.
No. Mystery Boats are only available for round-trip journeys. For one-way routes, you’ll need to choose a specific boat model among Le Boat’s canal and river boats for hire.
Yes. You can pre-book Le Boat holiday extras such as bikes, e-bikes, BBQs, or early check-in. Some extras may depend on the boat assigned, but we do our best to ensure availability.
Mystery Boats suit guests who want the best Le Boat price, are flexible about the boat model, and prioritise value over specific layouts. Guests needing accessibility or specific features should book a named boat instead.
- You book a boat group (2, 3, or 4 cabins), not a specific model.
- The exact boat and model are allocated on the day of arrival at check-in.

- Engine hours and security deposits (payable at the base in local currency) are charged according to the boat allocated.
- The boat type is not guaranteed. Your boat is likely to be one of the following boats: 2-cabin: Corvette A & B, Consul, Countess and Lake Star; 3-cabin: Crusader, Continentale and Shannon Star; and 4-cabin: the Classique and Classique Star. You may also be on another boat type within our fleet.
