Fantastic experience
We had a fantastic experience. The support we received during the booking process was very positive, and everything was as expected, if not better.
The onsite support was excellent, and the boat was very comfortable. We are already looking forward to our next boat trip and can strongly recommend Le Boat.

Great Canadian Waterway Adventure
This was a lot of fun and a great experience. We have been considering buying a boat in retirement and this was an awesome way to do a “trial run” and see what we thought. The directions at the dock were very thorough and the boat was easy to navigate. The staff at the locks throughout or trip were amazing with lots of good advice.

Great fun boating experience
Everything was well organised. The boat was clean and in good working order. Controls were explained and demonstrated clearly. The boat was a perfect size for the two of us.

Excellent service
Everything promised was delivered and more. We used the Jarnac office as a start and end point. Staff excellent, knowledgeable and helpful. Boat was perfect, river ideal for the trip. Can’t fault Le Boat at all.

We had an unforgettable week with Le Boat starting from Messac. As a family of four (two adults and two children), it was the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and quality time together. The check-in process was smooth, and the team at the Messac base were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we felt confident handling the boat before we set off.
The boat itself was clean, well-equipped, and easy to manage – even for first-timers. Cruising along the beautiful canals of Brittany was both peaceful and exciting. We loved stopping in charming towns along the way, picking up fresh pastries in the mornings, and mooring up in the evenings to enjoy dinner on the deck.
The kids especially loved the locks (and even got involved with the ropes), and we all enjoyed cycling and exploring the local countryside. There was plenty of space on board for everyone, and we appreciated how well everything was set up for families.
Highly recommend Le Boat Messac for anyone looking for a unique and memorable family holiday. We’ll definitely be back!

5/5 would recommend!!!
We just got back from a great trip on the Trent Severn waterway. The LeBoat horizon 5 was spacious and well appointed. Very maneuverable and easy to get through the locks. A completely unique holiday experience!

Just do it ! Memorable experience!
Spent 4 nights on the boat . What an absolute joyful trip – would highly recommend it! The boat was very clean & had all the basics you would expect it to have. Staff extremely helpful – special mention for Jason as he could not do enough for us! Jason stays with you on the boat until you yourself feel happy enough to leave the port . We had great fun visiting all the villages – alot of craic was had as the locals were great fun! Will definitely do this trip again!

Great family vacation
Our Le Boat experience in Smiths Falls along the Rideau Canal and Rideau Lakes system was amazing. We travelled as a family of 6 adults and were surprised at the amount of space we had! The Le Boat team was excellent and the experience on the water was great. Docking a 44’ boat was intimidating so take this into account but we worked as a team to get it done. Our best day and night was mooring in a protected island area in the middle of the water, swimming, paddle boarding and hanging out together. Unforgettable.

Incredible experience
We had the best time ever cruising in France. The boat itself was great, comfortable beds and good spots to lounge while cruising. Would definitively plan another vacation with Le Boat

Shannon cruise
The whole trip from start to finish was excellent. The staff were very helpful and professional. The boat we hired was perfect for 7 lads. The magnifique. We will be back next year.

We took the Le Boat tour in Belgium from June to July 2024. Rik from Westhoek Marina at Nieuwpoort was an exceptional guide. He provided us with many useful travel tips, and we greatly appreciated the staff members’ helpfulness and positive attitude. When one of our suitcase wheels broke, Rik even went out of his way to drop us off at the Nieuwpoort bus and tram station. We loved every little town (especially Bruges and Ghent, but Diksmuide and Ieper were also interesting and beautiful in their own way. We completed both Route 1 and Route 2. Thanks to the Belgium team—this was such a great holiday!

This was our first Le Boat experience. Awesome choice and…
This was our first Le Boat experience. Awesome choice and so glad we did it. Apart from the adrenalin to ensure you do things correctly, to the calm and relaxed hours on the canal. Our family was excited about all the planning, boating and exploring small towns like Edam, Zaanse Schaans and Maarssen on foot, bike and sometimes just on the deck! As a first time Le Boater, the staff made it easy and explained all the detail and operations (p.s. be sure to take notes), that helped us on our way. By day 2 you definitely feel more comfortable with all the bridges, signals, sluices and mooring. This was a unforgettable family holiday and we will surely tdo this again when opportunity presents itself.

Everyone at St Jean de Losne were above and beyond nice and helpful. They were going to call us a cab when we arrived in St Jean by train but a staff member just came and picked us up! The gentleman that showed us around the boat was excellent as well. In Branges, the women helping us check out was so nice and professional, can’t speak highly enough of her. The other staff in Branges were, oddly, not helpful. It’s traditional in any dockside setting to help those in need of a hand when coming into dock, even if aren’t working but just people sharing the dock. These guys (who are employed by Le Boat) just sat smiling as we came in to an unfamiliar harbor in the pouring rain and didn’t lift a hand to help. Then told us, after we were tied up that we’d tied up in the wrong place and told us to move. As I said, very odd considering how great everyone else from Le Boat was with us on our trip.
Already thinking about our next trip with Le Boat – Highly recommended!

A magical holiday! I will definitely do it again if I can. Le Boat were excellent on all levels. Efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The consultant I booked through was outstanding, as were the staff at the base (Le Mas d’Agenais). They attended to all our queries and were pleasant and helpful. They also arranged a taxi for us to get from Marmande to the base which was a great help. The base is a beautiful spot on the canal and very organised. I highly recommend them. Thank you for the incredible trip and service.

Boat was functional, clean and had everything we needed so would recommend for family of 4 (may be tighter squeeze with another 2 bodies) – down side was boat speed which was way down on all the other similar craft on the canal (think this may be linked to being charged for engine running time and not on what fuel you use which is fairer) which became slightly annoying when crossing the lochs as ended up last to the locks and then waiting on others getting through.
