Service augmenting travel experience.
What made our experience phenomenal? The scenery and location was stunning and the boat and logistics were flawless and, perhaps most importantly, the people of le boat in Scotland made the trip truly special. From planning, through check in and orientation, to checkout and follow up the Le boat Staff at Laggan in Scotland were excellent and oh so helpful.

Boat was spotless on collection

Money well spent
Reception and introduction, as always, was great and comprehensive. Technical staff was very helpful and great craic. Boat was clean, well equipped and in good overall condition. Navigation and mooring was easy and great fun. Even the weather played along!
On the whole it was excellent value for money.

Wonderful experience travelling from Tannay to Migennes in Spring
Amazing experience travelling from Tannay to Migennes. We travelled on the horizon 5 with 9 people. The boat was very modern and spacious. The staff were amazing both at Tannay and Migennes. We had trouble first day and they arrived within 15 min to help and we were back on our way. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous Thames LeBoat Experience
Great experience and memories made with friends on the Thames all with the help and support of the LeBoat Team. Clear booking online initially with great support from Gemma Evans. Anti from LeBoat called to confirm plans prior to travelling and met us on the morning of our holiday to support us. We were given clear instructions and training at the marina prior to leaving by a LeBoat Technical. A fabulous experience followed travelling from Chertsey heading to Henley On Thames. Enjoyed our first night at the Boathouse pub pontoon where we sat outside the pub and enjoyed beutiful food and a few drinks. Saturday morning we powered up to Marlow with fantastic views on the river. Marlow had a festival in the park where we moored which was an added bonus. Street-food purchased and enjoyed on top of the boat in the beutiful setting and sunshine. Later we headed to Henley for an overnight stay. Unfortunately the Lock at Hembleden broke down shortly before we arrived, engineered in site, so stayed the night and had a beautiful experience with cheese and wine on deck. Following morning, due to Lock still out of action, we turned and traveled to Windsor for the afternoon and stayed the evening, again another beautiful experience. Leboat experience is fabulous and a different experience of our beautiful UK.

The great boat and friendly helpful…
The great boat and friendly helpful team made our weekend on the Thames thoroughly enjoyable. Despite us being a large group of 10 – the Magnifique served us well and was a spacious comfortable base for us to have fun on the water and explore the area. Thoroughly recommend!

Amazing weekend with friends
Easy booking experience, great quality, well-designed, well-equipped boat on arrival. So easy to manoeuvre (we were a ‘crew’ of 6 new to boating females enjoying a weekend together while wanting to do something different, active and fun). We’d been a little worried about ‘no license, no experience required’ but we needn’t have worried. It was brilliant!!! Can’t wait to go again.

Great long weekend for the kids on the…
Great long weekend for the kids on the river. Very friendly staff. Didn’t charge us extra for being a little bit late getting the boat back. The Victoria lock doesn’t open till 0930 in the morning so you might want to take note of their times. The gas gave problems but they were very quick to sort it out for us. Would recommend.

Cruising the Caledonian Canal
Cruising the Caledonian Canal for a week we had an excellent enjoyable experience. The boat was in very good condition and had everything needed for a good holiday. The ensuite shower and toilets were much better than I expected,with a comfy bed. Cooking facilities were also good and easy to use. Le Boat advertise no experience necessary and provide an excellent briefing to get you used to the boat. The Caledonian Canal scenery was breathtaking, much better to view at 5mph than in the car. All in all we had a great and memorable week.

We hadn’t any problem with the boat
We hadn’t any problem with the boat. It was clear and all the equipment was working great. Receptionist and the rest of the staff were helpful and kind,they explained everything we needed and answer our questions. Thanks for eveything,hope to come again.

Great LeBoat experience
The staff were very helpful, very friendly, and nothing was a problem, although we didn’t experience any!
We found the whole experience great and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this type of holiday.
Our boat was very well equipped,and was very comfortable. We received tuition from Jack which was very helpful, and extra tuition is available if needed,
All in all, a great experience.
We took our trip from the base at Laggan Locks and the scenery around it is stunning

We took the Le Boat tour in Belgium from June…
We took the Le Boat tour in Belgium from June to July 2024. Rik from Westhoek Marina at Nieuwpoort was an exceptional guide. He provided us with many useful travel tips, and we greatly appreciated the staff members’ helpfulness and positive attitude. When one of our suitcase wheels broke, Rik even went out of his way to drop us off at the Nieuwpoort bus and tram station. We loved every little town (especially Bruges and Ghent, but Diksmuide and Ieper were also interesting and beautiful in their own way. We completed both Route 1 and Route 2. Thanks to the Belgium team—this was such a great holiday!

This was our first Le Boat experience. Awesome choice and…
This was our first Le Boat experience. Awesome choice and so glad we did it. Apart from the adrenalin to ensure you do things correctly, to the calm and relaxed hours on the canal. Our family was excited about all the planning, boating and exploring small towns like Edam, Zaanse Schaans and Maarssen on foot, bike and sometimes just on the deck! As a first time Le Boater, the staff made it easy and explained all the detail and operations (p.s. be sure to take notes), that helped us on our way. By day 2 you definitely feel more comfortable with all the bridges, signals, sluices and mooring. This was a unforgettable family holiday and we will surely tdo this again when opportunity presents itself.

Everyone at St Jean de Losne were above and beyond…
Everyone at St Jean de Losne were above and beyond nice and helpful. They were going to call us a cab when we arrived in St Jean by train but a staff member just came and picked us up! The gentleman that showed us around the boat was excellent as well. In Branges, the women helping us check out was so nice and professional, can’t speak highly enough of her. The other staff in Branges were, oddly, not helpful. It’s traditional in any dockside setting to help those in need of a hand when coming into dock, even if aren’t working but just people sharing the dock. These guys (who are employed by Le Boat) just sat smiling as we came in to an unfamiliar harbor in the pouring rain and didn’t lift a hand to help. Then told us, after we were tied up that we’d tied up in the wrong place and told us to move. As I said, very odd considering how great everyone else from Le Boat was with us on our trip.
Already thinking about our next trip with Le Boat – Highly recommended!

Stunning countryside with am easy going pace. We were diverted to the Loure Lateral due to flooding. While not our first choice the service provided by Le Boat was excellent. Highlights were visiting Sancerre and Never.

A magical holiday! I will definitely do it again if I can. Le Boat were excellent on all levels. Efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The consultant I booked through was outstanding, as were the staff at the base (Le Mas d’Agenais). They attended to all our queries and were pleasant and helpful. They also arranged a taxi for us to get from Marmande to the base which was a great help. The base is a beautiful spot on the canal and very organised. I highly recommend them. Thank you for the incredible trip and service.
