Wonderful holiday on the water
Wonderful holiday with my boys. Staff is very friendly,welcoming and professional. We had a Classique boat,abit older (and cheaper),but nonetheless very comfortable,easy to drive and in excellent condition. The very clear instructions by base manager and extensive,no rush,drive training with a technician makes you feel comfortable and confident from the start. Would highly recommend Vinkeveen base and the Netherlands for a boating holiday,absolutely beautiful.

The team were very helpful throughout the whole experience. As soon as my booking was confirmed, I received a series of confirmation emails, and everything was very clear and easy to understand for someone like me who had never been sailing before.
I even mentioned that I wanted to organise a surprise for my wife’s birthday, and I was myself surprised by the care with which the team arranged everything (decorating the boat, a gift and complimentary non-alcoholic champagne).
For the introductory session, Joe gave an excellent tour and, at the end, Veronica made us want to come back.
Everyone greets one another out on the water. The Beveridge team were very friendly too.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Le Boat, from the pre-planning to the details to the customer service to the check in and check out. Particularly helpful was the relaxed boat demonstration and review prior to departure. We are experienced boaters so we appreciated not having to sit for hours. Just a great experience.

This is our second LeBoat vacation of many more to come
This is our second LeBoat vacation (first was Nederland two years ago), so we had certain expectations and they were all easily met. The staff at the Laggan base are friendly, professional, and got us underway very quickly. Our Horizon 2 was an ideal boat for exploring the canal and Lochs. Easy to handle, very comfortable, and great views, even from the lower helm. Special mention to the lock keepers along the canal who were so professional and friendly. Do not worry if you do not have experience going through locks, they are there to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. We saw several boaters that had obviously little or no experience going through locks pass easily and with smiles on their faces thanks to be excellent lock keepers.

Honestly, this was one of the best holiday experiences we’ve had. It was so much fun and the team were absolutely fantastic. A special shout out to Oumar and Claire for your brilliant support. If this is not yet on your travel bucket list, add it immediately! You won’t regret it 🙂

Le Boat Canada is Top Notch
Lisa and the crew at Le Boat Canada were amazing. We just finished a week on the Trent-Severn and it was top notch.
Some weather and lock operations restrictions changed our original plans. But the team gave us plenty of suggestions and support along the way.
I would book the Trent-Severn again or try the Rideau at some point.
A special time
From start to finish, the lovely people and customer service at Portumna, to the very special time we had as 4 sisters cruising down the Shannon, it was a great experience and a great way to see a part of Ireland. Thank you very much for your excellent customer service, it was mighty!

Our two-day trip on Le Boat, on the Rideau River was fantastic! The boat was spotless and fully equipped, Igor was a great instructor during the walkthrough, and the check-in team went above and beyond by letting us return a bit late during the off-season. We loved the experience and will definitely be back next year to cruise another part of the river.”

Great weekend getaway
We had such a fantastic weekend with Le Boat. The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish — the boat was very comfortable, well equipped and a lovely way to spend a few days exploring at our own pace. What really stood out, though, was the Le Boat team. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and they made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed, particularly getting us comfortable with the boat before we set off. Cruising along, stopping wherever took our fancy and enjoying the scenery was such a wonderful way to switch off. A genuinely memorable weekend and an experience I’d happily recommend — we’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful holiday and outstanding customer service
We had a fantastic week with Le Boat from Decize. A canal closure forced us to change our planned route, but Frédérique went above and beyond to help us adapt and make sure we still enjoyed the special birthday celebration we had planned.
She took care of the transport arrangements and made everything so easy for us. Her kindness and personal attention really made the difference.
Even after our holiday, she helped return a much-loved jacket my wife had left behind, arranging shipping to our home in the Czech Republic.
We’ve used other boat rental companies before, but thanks to this experience, Le Boat will be our choice from now on. Thank you, Frédérique!

The route from Migennes to Tannay is beautiful and rural. The villages we visited were auuthentic and worth visiting. Each one had a great boulangerie. Some of the places where we tied up were a little larger and offered historical and cultural landmarks to visit. As it was very warm we found great places to swim. Not in the canal but in the river L’yonne which was never far away. We also visited the home of Cremant, Les Caves Bailly Lapierre. Very worthwhile to taste and buy this delicious bubbly. 49 locks kept us busy but great places to meet other “boaters” and lockkeepers.

Hiring from LeBoat in Chertsey is a good location for visiting the whole of the non-tidal Thames. The staff are friendly and helpful and you get all the information you need, and we had a great demonstration and explanation of the boat. I have given five stars because we had a lovely holiday but novice boaters should note it might be awkward to find your way back into the marina at the end of your trip. Unlike LeBoat’s other base at Benson, which is on the Thames itself, the Chertsey base is on a backwater, which is a bit of an adventure in itself. The boats seem to be well maintained and any problems are swiftly dealt with by the LeBoat team, whatever the time.

Had a lovely time on Clipper 2. Boat was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There were three of us on board and it could have accommodated up to 6. It was a lit of fun.

Benson is a great place to pick up your boat and head off either towards Oxford or down stream towards the beautiful Marlow and Henley or as far as you like towards Windsor and on.
The boat was clean and ready to go. This was not our first trip although the Elegance18 boat was new to us.

The Horizon 5 is only a couple years old. It felt like a brand new boat. With 3 couples, Ed had plenty of room to spread out and stash our luggage in the spare rooms. This boat is big, but the side thrusters made it incredible easy to maneuver into tight docking spots. Loved this boat.

The boat soon became home. It had everything we needed and living with 6 adults and 4 children was easy on this boat. The boat was quite large but the bow thrusters made manoeuvring easy. Altogether a really good experience.
