We are prior LeBoat cruisers and enjoyed the experience so thoroughly that we wanted to do another canal trip and introduce more friends to LeBoat, France and the canal excursion experience. A key ingredient to making these trips so fantastic are the wonderfully helpful LeBoat team members. They are world class and are the difference between a good experience, versus a great experience.

Fantastic trip
Fantastic trip! Saw France in a very low key way. Went to off the beatin path small towns. Not the Disney way. Can’t wait to do it again.

The whole experience was excellent
The whole experience was excellent, even with some dodgy weather.. I would thoroughly it. The staff we dealt with were brilliant, very patient and understanding and nothing seemed any trouble.

Liberty boat on the Yonne river
We recently rented the new Liberty boat from Le Boat, and the experience exceeded expectations. The boat itself was fantastic modern, comfortable, and very well designed for a relaxed cruise.
The team at the Migennes base were equally impressive. Friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, they made the whole process smooth from the start. Nothing felt rushed, and they took the time to ensure we were confident before setting off.
Overall, it was exactly the kind of calm, enjoyable experience you hope for on the Yonne easy cruising, great support, and a boat that really delivers.

We had the best time
We had the best time. The well equipped and easy to use boat gave us the opportunity to explore and enjoy the amazing Canal du Midi and the lovely places to be found along its course. The countryside is beautiful and the towns interesting to visit. The food and wine, and hospitality was a highlight. And it was sunny throughout. An enjoyable week all round. Thank you.

Best boating trip
We did the Flanders area and had the best time. Driving the boat was simple enough and going through bridges and locks was a fun experience. The team at Le Boat was so helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone and can’t wait to do it again!

Fantastic Experience!
Fantastic reception at Branges and a great and easy check-out at St Jean de Losne. This is our second time renting a boat from LeBoat and are already planning our next adventure as we travel home from this one.

St-Gilles to Port Cassalfiere is a very interesting itinerary with…
St-Gilles to Port Cassalfiere is a very interesting itinerary with minimum locks (two). The towns where we stopped overnights were Aigues-Morte (two nights- extremely interesting to visit), Meze and Marseillan (in the Etang de Thau). All nice ports with reasonable fees. In Galician and Frontignan, we just anchored in town for free.
Overall, very satisfied with this itinerary.

Very comfortable and great for 2 couples with the living/ kitchen area being in between the two cabins (so no idea if the others snore or not!). It was very well equipped (5 frying pans?!! and 4 corkscrews but no grater) with plenty of cutlery and crockery so we didn’t have to wash up every time we had a coffee/ ate something. Steering from the top is great and the boat handled very well indeed, even in high wind.

Le Boat Horizon 4 sleeps 8 but it was just…
Le Boat Horizon 4 sleeps 8 but it was just two of us for 7 days and we loved having the extra rooms for our luggage. The boat was very spacious and modern. We loved being able to cook on board, especially with the outdoor grill/BBQ, and were pleasantly surprised that with a few hatches open, nights in mid-September 2025 were cool and comfortable.
The thrusters were a huge bonus (and a must!) — they made maneuvering so much easier and forgiving. The Horizon 4 was otherwise straightforward to handle, and we had zero issues with the boat during our trip.
