Air conditioning and air cooling

When the temperatures soar, our cabin air cooling system can help make your night’s sleep a little more comfortable. Air cooling uses canal/river water to produce cool air which is blown out through vents.

Please note: This is not the same as air-conditioning which can achieve lower temperatures and has a thermostatic control. Performance significantly reduces if canal/river temperature is too high.

All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Answered any questions we had. A fantastic and safe way to vacation during the pandemic. There were only four of us on board so had lots of room to move around. I am so glad we found “le boat”. We loved it!
Thank you for taking the time to let us know that our staff was helpful. We strive to offer great customer service. We will be sure to let the base staff know that you were pleased.

Everything about Le Boat was fantastic! The boat was clean, in excellent working order, the instructions were thorough and valuable and the service from the staff exceptional. We highly recommend Le Boat. The horizon boats are well appointed, super comfortable, and perfect for the Rideau river system.

In general Ok. and good, except: Is not clear when you book all the process to puck up and sail. You practically lost one day. Never inform you the advantage to pay the fee for early pick up. and if don't ask same thing for a later return. different nice do it again from sure

The boat was well maintained, very comfortable, and exceptionally well designed for the rental market. It was basically a floating hotel room with all the normal amenities! Perfect set up for a couple, and the bow and stern thrusters rocked.

We had a very minor malfunction and they responded in a timely and appropriate manner. Wonderful clean design. Loved the Bimini and thrusters. The boat tends to wander off course and could do with a larger keel or bilge strakes

The Horizon was a terrific boat for our vacation. Very comfortable and great for exploring the Rideau waterways. We had everything we needed for a lovely cruise. The boat was very clean and well equipped. Sandy was great at getting us oriented and on our way in no time. The Horizon 2 was perfect for our needs. Having 2 cabins made it more comfortable. The kitchen was great and we made some simple but delicious meals. We were unsuccessful at getting the grill on the fly deck to work. Not sure if there was too much wind but it would have been fun to use it. The beds were very comfortable (and my wife is very picky). The addition of the clip-on fans was great. My last comment is that the boats should have names! Not numbers. Our boat was number 42, but we decided it should be named “Thanks For All The Fish.”
