Our trip was brilliant and exactly what we wanted. Super service, very friendly and they really do make sure you are comfortable with everything on the boat before you leave and while you're cruising ./ Brilliant for 4 people (and a small dog). Might have been tight if there were more of us...

Excellent care and attention from the staff at Portumna The boat was well maintained and comfortable. (We drew attention to minor faults). We will go again when the opportunity arises. Comfortable and easy to handle. Good access from outside control to quay when alongside, when short handed.

We've always been happy with Emerald Star and always been happy with our boat. The staff have always been absolutely excellent, from booking to check in to check out. We've never had a hidden charge or an excessive fuel bill. They're just nice people to deal with. A very nice little boat for four guys. It's not the newest boat in the fleet but it's very reasonably priced and while cosy, not at all cramped. We took it up the Shannon Erne waterway and it was perfect where a larger boat would have been a little more unwieldy in the narrow confines of the canal. There's no tv, which is great as that's the first thing we stow away when we get aboard.
