The Carolan Collective
The best of music, song and culture from Ireland’s Northwest
The Carolan Collective is a group of local musicians, singers and songwriters building on the enduring legacy of the Irish bard Turlough O’Carolan. This group of artists are showcasing the best of traditional music, songwriting and culture in the Northwest of Ireland. Engaging performances building on the historical artistry and modern interpretation of the blind harper’s everlasting melodies can be heard alongside tunes and songs by contemporary composers in a style that defined this region along the Turlough O’Carolan Music and Arts Trail. Our musicians can be heard at atmospheric concerts, at local sessions or can be booked for your events and private boat tours.
