River Thames Itineraries

Horizon on the Thames

London may well be known for its hustle and bustle but the River Thames takes you back in time allowing you to enjoy a mix of peaceful countryside and pretty towns, making it the perfect location for river walks and exploring outdoor spaces. Cruising from Benson allows you to experience the best of the Great British countryside.

Walks and Outdoor spaces

Moor in Windsor and a few miles away you will find The Bailwick and Windsor Great Park Walk, a 7.6km walk with a few gentle inclines where you will walk through Virginia Water and Obelisk Pond.

Near our base in Chertsey there is a 4 mile circular National Trail that runs along the Thames Path – from Chertsey Bridge to Shepperton lock. There’s plenty of meadowland to let your dog run free and get rid of some energy.

Parks and Gardens

A visit to “The Greatest Palace in Britain” is a must - Hampton Court Palace offers a magical journey through 500 years of Royal History. Whilst our four-legged friends are not allowed in the palace they are permitted in the informal gardens on a short lead. Reward them after with a long walk in Bushy Park, which is the second largest Royal Park of London.
