See all reviews >Had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed the experience boating in the lagoon. We found it difficult to find mooring space so a bit more information on exactly where to moor would have been useful. We tried to phone ahead to Chiogga but couldn’t get an answer and didn’t want to risk getting there and not being able to stop for the night so ended up returning to Burano for the night and didn’t get to visit Chiogga. If we did the trip again we would make sure we planned every day and night more thoroughly.
The manual provided had all the info we needed. Staff was knowledgeable and always avaialble
Good starting point for lots of marinas. It was very hot at the end of July so we opted for marina docking for the air on to work. It would have been to hot to stop wherever you liked. Wish we could have but just to hot.
Ports and canals were great
Had all the basic elements for a good vacation: accommodations, places to see, places to eat, and the unique experience of the ride itself: watching wildlife and beautiful scenery as we ride down and up the canal.

We were able to visit a number of Island within the Venice area. We couldn’t make it make it to Precenicco but made the most of all the islands around the Venice lagoon All were beautiful, offering its own unique charm. We took the opportunity to moor at a different island every night to make the most of the trip. People were friendly and made our trip really special. The Magnifique was just the right size boat for 7 people. Any more on the boat would have been too tight. Love every minute of it. Perfect way to see Venice and the neighbouring islands.

The city is known for its villa Pisani La Nazionale, which is a national monument. 168 rooms are fully painted by Venetian famous artists, immersed into a big garden with monumental stables and a natural maze and a vast pool originally built in 1721 by the Venetian Doge Alvise Pisani. - Portogruaro: 3 km from Concordia Sagittaria, and reachable by bike, Portogruaro is a charming town with a big pedestrian area full of shops, bars and restaurants. You’ll also enjoy the watermills, which have been fully restored and are in working order, and the traditional ‘osteria’ (typical venetian bars). For those interested in the local history, don’t miss the fascinating roman archaeological museum.
