Prize Draw terms & conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before entering the prize draw. By entering you indicate that you accept these terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by them.
1. Promoter’s Details: Le Boat Limited (the “Promoter”), a member of Travelopia companies, registered in Canada and whose registered office is 1 Jasper Ave., Smiths Falls, Ontario, K7A 4B5. You acknowledge that, depending on where you live, you may provide your details to an affiliate of the Promoter (see clause 4 and the applicable policies when you enter).
2. Eligibility: This competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. It is open to anyone who is a legal resident in the Canada (except Quebec) and United States of America (excluding the States of New York and Florida), who is twenty-one years of age or older. Employees and immediate family (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners) of the Promoter or its partners , affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible to enter this competition.
3. How to Enter:
a. To enter you will need to complete our online form above December 15, 2025 to 5:00pm on Jan 25, 2026. Details that will need to be provided are your name, a valid email address and country of residence to the Promoter.
b. Only one entry allowed per person. No purchase necessary. No entries from agents or third parties. Incomplete or illegible entries will not be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
c. The Promoter reserves the right (in its absolute discretion) to reject entries and disqualify entrants, including without limitation where the Promoter has cause to believe that (i) there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or (ii) the entrant has interfered with the fair running of this Competition, including without limitation by manipulating entries or the results, or has provided false information or has acted unethically in any other way.
4. Use of Data: All details provided by you will be held by the Promoter and used in accordance with these terms and conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available here.
5. Dates: The competition commences on December 15, 2025 to January 25, 2026. All entries must be received by January 25, 2026 before 5pm (EST) to be valid and entered into the competition.
6. Receipt of Entries: The Promoter will not accept: (a) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or (b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
7. Prize(s):
a. The prize on offer is one (1) x 7 night vacation of up to five (5) people in selected Le Boat cruising regions of Canada ( Rideau Canal or Trent-Severn Waterway) . The prize may be taken on the “Horizon 1 or Horizon 2” boat within the Le Boat fleet, subject to availability at the base and at the time of booking. The estimated prize value is $4309.00-$7499.00 (CND)
b. The prize includes:
- Boat rental for 7 night ; during the 2026 travel season.
- Black out dates may apply and include all 2026 Long Weekends, statutory holidays and peak season including July and August 2026. Travel is between May 16, 2026 to Oct 12, 2026.
- Rental of the boat and its onboard equipment
- A fully equipped kitchen
- Towels and linen for all passengers
- A boat handling demonstration prior to departure
- Technical support
- On-board maps and visitor information
- Prize includes a Fuel and Collision Damage Waiver Bundle, albeit its contents are subject to change.
- Prize winner is responsible for all extra included parking at the base, early check in, bike rentals, kayak rental, early or late check out fees, fuel and security deposit at time of check in
c. For the avoidance of doubt, the winner is solely responsible for all additional costs and expenses associated with the prize not expressly stated herein as included. This includes, but is not limited to, transportation to and from your departure base, parking at the base for private cars, Waterside services if you use them (i.e. moorings where a charge is applicable, pump-out if needed, water, shore power, private marina and public harbour docking fees etc), cancellation plan & any travel/personal insurance, compulsory Le Boat lockage and mooring fees, food, drink, spending money, waterside services such as moorings, pump out, harbour parking fees, restaurants, souveniers, required travel documents, Le Boat onboard extras and any other ‘off boat’ costs. In addition you are responsible for placing a security deposit (reduced by the included Damage Liability Reduction) and A pre-authorisation of a refundable security deposit is required at the base on arrival, in local currency.
e. Any booking of the prize must be made at least 8 weeks before the intended departure date and must be made for a departure date in 2026. No substitution or extensions will be provided.
Travel must be completed by Oct 12, 2026 or prize will be forfeited. Prize cannot be transferred or sold to another person and must be accepted as award. No substitutions or cash value.
Once booking is confirmed not changes are permitted and change fees may apply. Travel dates and value of the prize will vary depending on destination, cruising date, boat type and when prize is booked /confirmed.
f. Once made, and without prejudice to the booking conditions, your booking may not be amended or altered in any way whatsoever once your booking is confirmed. Change Fees may apply. Prize is not transferable and not redeemed for cash value if cancelled. No extension of travel dates will be provided.
g. It is the winner’s responsibility to check all details of their booking and ensure all visa and passport requirements are fulfilled and to arrange their own travel insurance. For the avoidance of doubt the entirety of the Promoter’s, or its affiliates, booking terms and conditions apply to any vacation booked with a winning voucher; click here for full terms and conditions.
h. The prize is not transferable and no alternative will be offered. There is no cash alternative or exchange and no cash compensation in the event that any element of your booking is not available or withdrawn and an alternative will be offered. No compensation will be payable by the Promoter if the winner is unable to use their prize as stated.
i. The prize cannot be awarded to any person who, for any reason, would not be allowed by law to purchase or use the prize. Prize winner must be traveling with another adult that is 21 years of age or order to operate the boat. The prize winner and all crew must watch the Le Boat safety video and also attend pre boarding training prior to the boat rental being released. The Le Boat base team will determine the competence t the prize winner and their crew to operator the boat safely and no refund or cash award will be provided if the winner does not pass safety check list or competency check list in Accordance with Le Boat rental policy or Transport Canada requirements.
8. Selection of winners: The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries.
9. Notification: The winner will be notified by email on or before Feb. 2, 2026 with instructions on how to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or is unable to accept their prize within 7 business days of being contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to choose another winner from eligible entries received.
10. Winner(s) details: Details of the winner, name and country of residence, will be obtainable after the March 7, 2026 by writing to the Promoter at its registered address. The winner may be required to participate in post-competition publicity.
11. General:
a. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition in exceptional circumstances. All entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the Promoter reserves the right to exclude entrants for any breach of these terms and conditions. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
b. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
c. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
d. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
12. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the law of the Province of Ontario Canada.
