My husband and I went on the Canal Du Midi cruise with Le Boat for our Honeymoon, from Port Homps to Port Cassafieres. The service from the Le Boat team in Cape Town, South Africa where we booked, as well as on arrival at each base was truly excellent. The Cirrus B is perfect for two people, very spacious, but still keeping it small enough to easily steer and control the boat.

We rented a Cirrus B for two weeks. Plenty roomy for the two of us, both of us could be working on a meal at the same time. The boat was in excellent shape for it's age. Having a door to the bow and one at the stern made easy access forward and aft for handling dock lines at the locks. The staff was more than helpful, the check in person arranged for a taxi for us from the train station when we called in a panic, us not speaking any french and finding no one in Sarrebourg who spoke english. We also had a glitch with the heating system and the mechanic promptly fixed it so we could get on our way. Will we rent from Le Boat again? Probably not as we now want to buy our own boat and spend the summers cruising the canals of Europe! But we would recommend Le Boat to anyone interested. We would also recommend the Hesse to Boofzheim canal trip, beautiful views, wonderful towns and cities.

Excellent English speaking service in the office when we arrived, boat was ready early and allowed to board. Great service going through the routes with us We love the Cirrus perfect size for a couple, had larger boats in the past but we enjoy the Cirrus for coziness, and easy of mooring and handling when just 2 people, its size keeps the moorings fee low as well.

All personnel we came in contact with were courteous and helpful but if they had taken us for a test drive they would have realized the steering was amiss. We are experienced boat drivers and didnt need lessons but took us 2 days of zigzagging to realize it wasnt us but steering needed hydraulic fluid. Help did come immediately to our mooring next day, however, then it was fine. We should have been FOREWARNED to buy enough food to make all meals since it was so late in season that most restaurants, etc. Were closed for tbe season. Also, our boat was advertised as sleeping 4! The double bunk was comfortable for 2 and a SMALL person could sleep on right side bow cushion. we are curious to know how 4 adults would sleep in it! Enjoyed the adventure and experience of slowly cruising and biking thru french countryside, villages, small chateaus, and vineyards. Nice to have so much choice in where to moor. Enjoyed helping out in locks, as well.Glad we went late in season except for having many restaurants closed for the season.

From our initial contact with the sales department through the wonderful support of the base team at Le Mas d'Agenais, all our questions, concerns and requests were handled promptly, efficiently and courteously and always with aim of providing and ensuring us a safe and enjoyable cruise. If the bed had been softer, I would have rated five stars. However, other than that, the boat was perfect for us as a couple. The kitchen was very well equipped supplied with all the flatware, service ware, utensils and pots and pans we could possible need.
